We are a group of people whose goal is to attain AKC Recognition for the Lagotto Romagnolo, who love the pure-bred Lagotto and the sport of competing with the breed, and who desire camaraderie with others who have the same purpose. We desire to provide a club whose focus is breed health and breeder education, support of competitive outlets, maintenance of the breed standard and breeder integrity and a forum for mutual participation in all of the above.

Lagotto Romagnolo Club of America Goals:

Encourage and promote quality in breeding practice of pure bred Lagotto Romagnolo and to do all possible to bring their natural working tendencies to perfection.

Encourage better breeding practice and health testing with adherence to the various certification and testing regulations and AKC Breed Standard through education and by example.

Encourage competition in AKC events and other venues through education, demonstration, and by example.

Offer, conduct, and encourage participation in events that will encourage camaraderie, mutual support, and respect in keeping with AKC Rules and Regulations.

Encourage companion owner involvement through education, support, and relationships.

Assist in the start up of Lagotto Romagnolo Club of America affiliate clubs.

Contribute back to the community through charitable donation of our time, thoughts and ideas, and funds.

Start and support a Lagotto Health Research Foundation.
